Lunch @ SoSushi!
Oggi, insieme a maelstrom, ho sperimentato un ottimo pranzo a base di sushi e sashimi in versione take-out in un ristorante aperto recentemente a Catania: SoSushi, catena di ristoranti jap nata a Bologna e finalmente arrivata in Sicilia.
L'ambientazione è carina, il locale forse un po' piccolo, ma offre una serie di servizi interessanti tra cui un servizio di catering, consegna a domicilio, cene con chef a domicilio e una scuola di sushi con corsi per adulti e bambini.
Spero che questo "esperimento" giapponese a Catania abbia successo e riesca a competere con arancini, carne di cavallo, e le varie cucine etniche già presenti e più radicate...il servizio è ottimo, come la qualità del pesce, la presentazione delle pietanze e il loro packaging.
A conti fatti mi è piaciuto tutto...e l'ho anche mangiato con le bacchette e con la salsa di soia...ma...lo zenzero dolce sott'aceto per pulire la bocca tra un pesce e l'altro ha il sapore di Svelto, ecco, quello proprio non mi è piaciuto e penso non riuscirò ad abituarmici!

Sono felice che ti sia piaciuta la cucina giapponese: dubitavo un po' perchè pensavo che ti saresti fatta trascinare dalla superiorità siciliana nella cucina del pesce...
Ma non hai nemmeno nominato il wasabi, che a dire il vero, non hai nemmeno voluto assaggiare.... ma forse alla prossima ti convinco!
Dimenticavo: secondo me i prezzi sono un po' cari.
la prossima volta voglio venire anche io, provo tutto tranne il sushi con il pesciolino nemo:-)

ma è quello in viale ionio? ogni volta che ci passo davanti mi dico che voglio provarlo ma non mi sono mai fermata. speravo che con la storia del take away i prezzi non fossero eccessivamente cari... e invece? mmm. ma voglio assaggiare, ché mi ha sempre incuriosito la cucina giapponese. e le tue considerazioni sono un incentivo in più :o)

Io proprio il pesce crudo non riesco a mangiarlo!
Fin da piccola mia mamma ha provato a farmi assaggiare le catanessissime alici marinate, ma davvero mi fanno senso!

Sì, è un po' distante da questi luoghi: in realtà è una traversa di Corso Italia, ma se lo cerchi su Google Maps lo trovi di sicuro!
